Tempus Foods, by ex Masterchef finalists Dhruv Baker & Tom Whitaker, produce the most incredible charcuterie. They believe that ’old is amazing’ and only use ex-breeding sows and ex-dairy cattle as it creates unrivalled flavour and texture in the meat. They’ve also worked out the optimum weight of animal they need to make the finest products so work closely with farmers to source their meat. This attention to detail means you can be assured of buying some of best charcuterie in the world.


The range includes an Achari Spiced Salami, King Peter Ham, Spiced Loin and Spiced and Smoked Coppa. If you get a chance to try or buy this amazing produce, do it! The depth of flavour is really outstanding.


While judging for the Great Taste Awards, I was told by a buyer for a prestigious food hall that Tempus Foods was the most exciting thing in they’d stocked lately. It made me desperate to try it and I had the chance at the BBC Good Food Show.


The range was showcased by Heritage Cheese at the B BC Good Food Show Winter, which is where Dhruv is pictured here. It was one of my finds of the show and I made sure to tell everyone I could about it! I loved every moment tasting the range and it gave me so much pleasure sharing the experience with other food lovers.
